Don't believe me? Wikipedia states that it's been around since the late 1800's. You can almost call it a recognised sport as there is an International Table Soccer Federation.
So why the post? Last weekend was Father's Day in New Zealand, and as my parental status has changed recently, Mila was kind enough to sponsor the children in getting me my very own foosball table!
Some assembly was required, which for guys doubles the value of any gift (wives take note). Assembly was easy though, as the instructions were the best I have ever seen.
