Optimising your internet connection

I'm back from the wild with this little tip for those of you who haven't thought about your TCP/IP settings. You should try the SG TCP Optimizer (version 2.0.2 at the time of writing). This free application lets you tweak that various settings that impact your connection speed. Typical windows settings are suitable for either dial-up, or ethernet, but not in the middle (like ADSL). Using the optimal settings option gave me a 10% boost!
