Over the years, I've looked for a decent text editor that supported some form of syntax highlighting. In the past, I've used the VB based DevelopersPad (which hasn't been updated for around 4 years) and NZ Software's Bonfire Studio.
I've just discovered Florian Balmer's Notepad2 and I'm hooked - it's so good I've swapped the standard notepad.exe for this.
